TO THE BRIDGE PUB & RESTAURANT - WHORLTON VILLAGE, BARNARD CASTLE

Synonymous with many of the North East's finest restaurants, chef Paul O'Hara upped sticks with his family and settled down in the quaint little village of Whorlton, 3 miles outside of Barnard Castle, County Durham.

Locally sourced great tasting food

"It's a big change for people here" - says Paul, "my idea is to fuse together the creativity and excitement of the city, with great quality local produce that's freshly available right here on my doorstep.

Teesdale is a fabulous spot, quite un-spoilt, we're slowly but surely transforming The Bridge, and educating people's palates offering a great deal more choice, we have also introduced an extensive wine list - which has been specifically put together to complement the depth of flavour our menus deliver."
