About The Bridge inn

paul

Paul O'Hara's name has been synonymous with many of the North East's finest restaurants and after six years working for acclaimed chef Terry Laybourne, he's upped sticks and settled down in the quaint little village of Whorlton, 3 miles outside the picturesque market town of Barnard Castle, County Durham.

This bold but brave move has created a whole new life for wife Naomi, and young children Thomas and Sophie, who now include half a dozen free range hens as part of the immediate family.

Teesdale is a fabulous spot, quite un-spoilt, we're slowly but surely transforming The Bridge Inn.

They also boast a spacious outdoor dining area and stunning scenery throughout the locality, if you haven't visited Teesdale yet, take a ride out through the rolling countryside and pop into The Bridge for supper - it's well worth a visit.
